Nominated by the public and ranked based on employee survey responses, IDR Inc.’s Nashville office was honored in the medium size company category.
Nashville, TN – IDR, Inc., an award-winning, employee-owned staffing firm, has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work by Nashville Business Journal. The award recognizes Nashville businesses that rank best in key employee engagement categories, including team effectiveness and trust in senior leadership.
Nominations for the 2019 Best Places to Work award were accepted from the Nashville public. Once nominated, a company’s employees were asked to fill out a survey measuring for ten key areas of engagement. Responses to this survey produced a composite score which was used to determine the winners in each category of company size. As a result, IDR was chosen as one of Nashville’s top medium sized companies.
One important factor that continues to contribute to IDR employee satisfaction is the organization’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). ESOP fosters a culture of empowerment among IDR employees and consultants. It also encourages a greater sense of ownership among team members who know their efforts and hard work are contributing to the organization’s bottom line.
