Last month, our Nashville team had an exciting opportunity to tie our Giving Back day into Thanksgiving. On November 18th, our team gathered and headed to Tennessee State University to stuff over 1000 baskets with food for Thanksgiving meals across the city. The next day the food was delivered to families who needed a little extra help this holiday season.
The project was coordinated by the Salvation Army, and it was a joy for us to help! We all were able to contribute in various ways. Some of us filled baskets with cakes and breads while others organized and counted the baskets. One of our favorite things about this event was getting the opportunity to work alongside people from other organizations. While it is great to work as a team, we got to make some new friends and memories at this event.
