Our Atlanta crew recently began a new boot-camp regimen. We are now participating in Crossfit twice a week as a team. Crossfit is a type of workout that has been sweeping the nation. Gyms with Crossfit classes are all over… we have about 5 in a two mile radius of us. We workout at Crossfit Perimeter and love it!

Workouts vary by the day, but they all have a competitive nature to them. You either have a workout that you complete as fast as possible or you have a smaller workout with a set amount of time and you see how many times you can complete the workout.

For example:

For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes:
9 Burpees
9 Wall ball shots (20lbs, 14lbs at 10′)
9 Power cleans (95lbs, 65lbs)

We love Crossfit because we never know what to expect, and they always push us! The competitive nature allows you to not only work to beat your peers, but also to get personal records.
