Thought for the Weekend: Anticipate and Respond Quickly

We had a pretty bad snow/ice storm here in the Atlanta area this week.  One of the things the local news media focused on was the slow response time of DOT and other road clean-up crews.  As I thought about it more and more I realized that our clients and customers desire a quick response from us as well.

We need to anticipate issues and have responses ready as a practice not simply when there is a disaster.  It take a great deal of energy to accomplish this, but in the long run we are more successful by having anticipated.

What about you?  Are you constantly anticipating and responding to issues or do you wait until things creep up?
