Helpdesk Technician Overview:
 

  • Provide customer service support for IT hardware and software
  • document troubleshooting steps and solutions 
  • Provide on call support as needed 
  • Utilize ticketing system to escalate and track issues
  • Participate in some vendor selection, process improvement, project management activities
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Stay up to day on trends and best practices

Job Requirements

Service Desk Technician Requirements:
 

  • 1+ year of Helpdesk/IT Support experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical support best practices
  • Strong understanding and experience with help desk ticketing systems
  • Well rounded IT support knowledge including MS Office, Windows OS, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, etc
  • Support of clinical applications preferred 
  • Excellent customer service experience 
  • Strong customer service capabilities
