Position Overview for the IT Procurement Specialist:

• Responsible for tracking monthly spend, monthly volume/product tracking, vendor pricing, etc.
• Responsible for creating reports using Ariba
• Lead sourcing events and contract administration
• Maintain vendor relationships for IT products
• Place orders and ensure all contracts are approved
• Negotiate pricing with vendors
• Red-line contracts to facilitate negotiations
• Work closely with IT management to understand needs of the department

Required Skills for the for the IT Procurement Specialist:

• 3+ years of IT Procurement experience
• IT Sourcing experience
• Strong product knowledge of IT hardware and software
• Experience evaluating and monitoring contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts
• Experience interfacing with IT Vendors
• Strong verbal and written communication
