IDR’s largest client is looking for an Senior Software Engineer to join its team in Boston!
Responsibilities of the Sr. Software Engineer Include:
- Design, Code, and Test back-end Ruby on Rails systems for transforming and ingesting patient data
- Implement automated tests with RSpec
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand and contribute to
functional and technical requirements - Implement logic for segmenting patient data according to customer-defined
rules
Required Skills/Experience of the Sr. Software Engineer:
- Proficiency building applications with Ruby on Rails
- Proficiency in database design and querying with SQL and ActiveRecord
- Proficiency in writing automated tests with RSpec
- Experience using git and Github for source code management
- Experience building systems for parsing and transforming data
- Experience working with containerized deployment environments
- Experience transporting data through various protocols
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
