IDR is looking for an healthcare Rhapsody Developer for one of our Fortune 200 Healthcare clients. This position will be a 4+ month contract with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess a Rhapsody Associate Certification and experience developing with HL7 2.X interfaces.

 

Responsibilities of the Interface Developer

• Responsible for the design, development, testing, support and maintenance of application integration messaging infrastructure supporting mission critical clinical and business processes.
• Requires deep understanding of HL7 messaging standards, CCD/C-CDA/IHE profiles, XDS.b/XDR, PIX/PDQ and enterprise level interface integration platforms (e.g. Rhapsody).
• Responsible for building integration solutions using SOAP and RESTful Web Services, JDBC database connections using SQL and stored procedures, and vendor specified APIs.
• While following SDLC process, the Interface Developer works closely with teammates to understand and provide feedback on complex functional requirements, identify gaps and technical limitations, propose solutions and workarounds and formalize solutions in technical design documents, followed by coding, unit and integration testing

 

Required skills of the Interface Developer

• 5+ years of healthcare integration experience
• 3+ years of experience developing interfaces using Orion Health Rhapsody (5.X/6.X)
• Rhapsody Associate Certification Required
• Experience developing with HL7 2.X interfaces (ADT, SIU, ORM, ORU, MDM, DFT)
• Experience developing JDBC interfaces
• Experience with XDR Provide-and-Register
• Experience with XDS.b interfaces / HIE interfacing
• At least 1 project developing CCD/C-CDA interfaces

Nice to have skills of the Interface Developer

• Rhapsody Professional Certification Preferred
• At least 1 project developing eMPI PIX/PDQ interfaces, NextGate preferred
• Knowledge of DIRECT secure messaging preferred
• Knowledge of GE Healthcare Objects API preferred
• Knowledge of Cache DB integration preferred
