Lead IoT Engineer

IDR is seeking a Lead IoT Engineer to join one of their Top Clients in Dallas, TX - permanently! This position calls for an experienced engineer to design and develop software components for the Controls Engineering organization. The IoT Engineer will have an opportunity to lead and collaborate with other engineers to design, plan, develop, and maintain embedded software components.

 

Top Skills:

• 3+ years of cloud development (GCP, AWS, Azure) & micro-services
• 2 years experience developing embedded software in C/C++
• Experienced in the architecture, design, device/cloud integration, and development of Internet of Things (IoT) software
• Design and debug experience for solutions involving hardware, embedded firmware, server back-ends at scale, mobile, and web

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with HVAC, Refrigeration control systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
