Messages From Our Leaders

See what our leaders have to say

For the year 2010, IDR has adopted the theme of Excellence to be demonstrated in everything we say and do.  We at IDR define Excellence as striving to be the best we can be in life and in business.  Now that we have defined our strategy for the year, how do we implement a plan?  The fastest and easiest way for us to find Excellence is to adopt and adapt the beliefs and behaviors of people who have achieved sustainable excellence.  And yet, some may choose not to do what is proven, even if it’s easy.  Instead, they prove that what is easy to do is easy not to do.
Stephen Covey, author of Seven Habits, teaches us to begin with the end in mind.  We must learn to set our vision, create our goals, develop our plan, work our plan, and follow through to the finish.  Until we incorporate this wisdom, we are wishing instead of planning, we are procrastinating rather than acting, and we are complaining about others and the hand we are dealt instead of making the best of the moment.  We must follow natural principles and processes. And remember that any action is better than not action at all.  Keeping with the mentality of the law of the harvest, we remember to live in the present while continuously preparing for the next harvest season.  We understand that by being proactive, we will arrive today improved from yesterday.
A successful career in IT staffing requires that you adopt these beliefs and behaviors.  We must learn to be proactive and rigorously envision, plan, and execute in order to succeed.  We find the principles and life lessons in our personal lives are parallel with our actions in business.  If you copy the easy map for long-range success through setting goals and include family, social, and personal time, you can review your life with a sense of joy and completeness.  We choose to make quality time for family, friends and our own personal pursuits to achieve balance.  We allocate time for exercising, reading, pursuing hobbies, or just relaxing and refreshing.  These are choices.
Sound possible?  It is, however, our lives grow only when we do.  To be Excellent, we must change and make ourselves better first.  Making our lives worth living is achieved in the choices we make every day.  This is the time to show gratitude for who we are, for the skills and knowledge we possess, for whom and what we have around us, for where we are, and all the overt and so far uncovered opportunities.
At IDR, we promise to help you find personal and professional Excellence.  We will teach the beliefs and behaviors that create sustainable success.  Our culture is one of growth.  We teach not to buy into gloom and doom, but rather, we teach you how to have strength, moral courage, and leadership in doing what is right, and not what is easy.  We will teach you how to make a difference.  It is not for everyone.  As we say at IDR, you can choose not to do what is proven and we understand this is a choice.  If you are interested in learning more, contact us and find out if IDR is right for you.  According to our plan, we are growing rapidly and will one day be “the Best IT Staffing Company the World has ever seen.”
